Phoenix Rising is located in Port Townsend, WA, a small Victorian seaport on the Olympic Peninsula.

In 1987, Jill bought Phoenix Rising, a hole in the wall books and crystals shop. It has since transformed into one of the largest, full service metaphysical bookstores and shops in the country. In 1999 we built our own 4,000 square foot building and relocated to 696 Water Street.

For the past 23 years, Jill has traveled to India, from January to March. India is her second home but she also purchases gold and silver jewelry, brass statues, thangkas, Kashmiri scarves and shawls, and more for Phoenix Rising. Until his passing a few years ago, Jill also studied meditation with her guru in Pune. Additionally, she has been teaching mediation for the past 10 years with students in both Port Townsend and India. 

Throughout the years, the focus has always been to create an atmosphere conducive to helping people find their personal and universal highest level of being in mind, body, and spirt. As such, we sell a wide variety of items including books, crystals, jewelry, statues, clothing, music, incense, tarot decks, and more. On this site you will find a select collection of unique items from our inventory.
